Bassey Sam

Bassey Sam is a community development and youth worker with extensive development work experiences of over seven years cutting across; Cross River, Nassarawa, Osun and FCT.

She was a global shaper which is an initiative of the world economic forum, Calabar hub where she served as the hub treasurer. Bassey is a Returned Volunteer of the Voluntary Service Overseas - International Citizen Service where she served as a Volunteer and Team Leader. Currently she is an Active Citizen who is still working tirelessly in youth advocacy and development


Ichedi Deborah

Hails from Benue state, Nigeria and was born into the family of Hon. Godwin Ichedi on 29th June 1996 in benue state. She is passionate about social development and the development of the girl child. Her passion for social development motivated her into volunteering for Youthhub africa where their thematic areas are in line with her ambitions.

Her passion for young women also spurred her into volunteering as an enabler for Female and More Project where she is helping young women capture a new sense of inward capabilities in other to tap their unimaginable potentials for greatness. She is currently studying sociology and anthropology at the prestigious University of Abuja where she is serving as the Secretary General of her departmental association. Nwaicha Nicholas

Nwaicha Nicholas is a graduate of Economics from the University of Abuja and found passion in public health after his National Youth Service year at National Agency for the Control of AIDS which led him to volunteer at YouthHub Africa. His Interests are Research, Data Entry and Report Writing. He loves Pop music, Movies and Traveling to New places.


Oti Ogochukwu Favour

My name is Oti Ogochukwu Favour, a graduate of Microbiology from the University of Abuja. I reside in Abuja, Nigeria.

I am an articulate person who relishes challenges, with my greatest strengths being my research and writing skills as can be seen on my Facebook page. I love working in the health sector as much as I particularly enjoy having stimulating conversations and watching movies. I'm an applicant, currently volunteering with Youth Hub Africa and Gilead Medical Centre.


Peace Ochanya Ojiyi

Peace Ochanya Ojiyi has over 2 years of experience in the development sector, specifically focusing on research, health, youth and advocacy. Over the past 3 years, she has had experience in qualitative research, report writing, monitoring and evaluation, project planning and design, implementation, Human Resource, capacity building, interview and learning. Currently, Peace is a Program Assistant at the West African Academy of Public Health (WAAPH), where she coordinates the academy’s Virtual Internship Program which engages youth in Global Health advocacy using the social media as a platform. Peace holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Madonna University Elele, Rivers state Nigeria where she focused on Medical Biochemistry and HIV/AIDS. She has a strong passion for youth and sustainable development and she is committed to improve the community by advocacy for the marginalised population, volunteerism and Public Health education. Peace looks forward to undertaking a master’s degree in Global Health with a focus on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH).


Uchenna Alozie Okoroafor

Uchenna Alozie Okoroafor holds a degree in Engineering and certificates in Project Management. Over the past 10 years, he has gathered quite a number of experiences which spans across various industries and sectors amongst which are Construction, ICT, Production, Human & Social Development.

He is a solutions consultant, ED, EIDIAfrica, Co-director Touchfoods & Industries, Estes Guild Ltd & Sellect footwear, Volunteer with Youthhubafrica and member YMNASGBV. He runs a mentoring program for young people called #TheJourney. He loves researching, competitive sports, music and adventure.
