The YouthHubAfrica Basic Education Reform Media Fellowship 2020 is designed to equip media personnels with the skills and knowledge needed to understand the Basic Education Amendment Act advocacy so as to provide for ambitious coverage of critical issues related to girl-child education in Nigeria.
The media fellowship is open to media professionals all over Nigeria to expose them to various loopholes in the UBE (2004) Act and the various disadvantages of the current Act to girl child education in the country. At the end of the one-day training, journalists would become Basic Education Reform media fellows and partners in the advocacy to realise the review and subsequent passage of a new UBE Act.
